Project Description:

The project included new infrastructure, finishes, seismic upgrades, a 37,000 SF building expansion with a larger security checkpoint, expanded hold rooms, new concessions, modernization of the ticket lobby and check-in processors, new checked baggage inspection system, new apron paving and hydrant fuel system, new passenger boarding bridge, a new building façade with new curbside canopy, a post-security passenger connection to Terminal 2 and related enabling project to facilitate the overall program.

Morgner reviewed and wrote the plans and specifications for the proposed apron concrete replacement, underground utilities, fueling system, and other disciplines related to the civil portion of the project. In addition, we performed quality assurance, review and oversight of the shutdown, testing and commissioning of the fueling systems and underground utility systems, while serving as the Owner’s Representative for requested agency interaction with airport staff.
